1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike traditional cloud-based document signing services, DocSigner Pro does not require you to create an account, register your email address, or upload files to a server. We do not collect, process, or transmit:

• Your uploaded, imported, or viewed PDF documents.
• Your hand-drawn signatures, stylized initials, or typed names.
• Any document passwords or AES-256 decryption keys.
• Your biometric credentials (fingerprints or face recognition data).
• Your personal contact lists, location coordinates, or device camera/microphone streams.

2. Local Storage & Security Architecture

All document rendering, vector stroke capture, magnetic alignment coordinate calculations, and cryptographic operations are executed in-memory on your device:

• Local Document Vault: Documents imported via Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) are stored inside your device's protected internal app storage (filesDir). No other applications can access these files.
• AES-256 Bit Encryption: When you lock a PDF document, it is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 bit algorithms. The password you set is never sent to our servers.
• Biometric Security: Biometric authentication (fingerprint or face unlock) is performed entirely by Android's hardware-backed BiometricPrompt API. DocSigner Pro never receives or stores your biometric template.
• SHA-256 Cryptographic Audit Trail: Document integrity hashes are computed locally via SHA-256. This fingerprint enables you to independently verify that a document has not been modified after signing.

4. Permissions Required by DocSigner Pro

DocSigner Pro adheres strictly to the principle of least privilege:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required exclusively for loading AdMob sponsor advertisements and validating Google Play purchase tokens. No document data is ever sent over the network.
• USE_BIOMETRIC: Required to allow fingerprint or face unlock to open your document vault.
• Storage Permissions: DocSigner Pro uses Android's modern Storage Access Framework (SAF) file picker. It does not request broad MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions.

5. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Under global privacy frameworks including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Erasure / Data Deletion: Because all documents and settings are saved locally on your device, you have complete control. Simply deleting a document in the app or clearing the app storage via Android Settings completely erases your data. No account deletion request is necessary because no accounts exist.
• Right to Portability: You can export and share your finalized PDF documents at any time using standard Android sharing channels.
• Do Not Sell My Personal Information: We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information to third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

DocSigner Pro is designed for general business, productivity, and professional audiences (aged 18 and older). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory adjustments. Any changes will be posted on this website with an updated revision date.
